Wootton St George U10's are currently looking to add a few extra players to an already successful team in preparation for next year’s move to 11 a side. We are currently playing in the A league and can offer a good level of football. The current team are a really friendly bunch and are very much a team on the up, winning 3 successive promotions in 3 seasons. Our coaches are level one qualified and our club is working really hard towards becoming a chartered standard club for next season. Welland Valley Summer Tournament 2010
The Welland Valley summer tournament will this year be held on Sunday 4th July at Wootton Brook, Ladybridge Drive, Nothampton NN4 9XG. There will be mini-soccer along 11 a-side football.
Age groups taking part will be:
(U7, U8, U9, mini-soccer) (U11 pre-season age Group - U11 – U12 – U14 is 11 a-side football.)
U11 Pre-season age group is for this seasons 2009/10 under ten age group teams who wish to try 11 a-side football before the 2010-2011 season starts.
Entrance fee is £40.00 per team for 11 a-side football and £30:00 per team for mini-soccer.

| NEW WOOTTON ST GEORGE U7s TEAM - PLAYERS NEEDED |
We are currently in the process of setting up a new U7s team from scratch to compete in the John Henry league from February 10 in preparation of having a full season at under 8s next year.
Coaching will be provided by qualified CRB checked coaches who place great emphasis on children enjoying their football. We have structured Training sessions and spend a lot of time on improving and developing individual’s skills and techniques whilst we also actively promote the “team” ethic in everything that we do.
We are a family friendly club who provide football for eleven teams. We currently cater for children from Under 8s up to under 17’s. We are working towards F A Charter Standard and play our matches at Wootton Community Centre & Recreation Ground. We also have a strict code of conduct that applies to players, families, friends and supporters alike.
Now is a great time to join and to be part of something from the beginning so if you are interested in bringing your child along we will be training Friday nights 6.30 - 7.30 at Caroline Chisholm School on the Astroturf. I'm sure as you are all aware we are as a League going to work to becoming Charter Standard. We have 23 clubs with 187 teams that have already gained Charter Standard and another 26 clubs with 113 teams that have not yet attained this Standard.
We would like to be able say that all our Clubs have achieved this, there are benefits for your Club for doing this.
We are prepared to help you work towards this and to this affect are holding a meeting at Queens Park Working Men's Club on the 5th October at 7.30pm. Please come we will aim to answer any questions, could you also bring along the starter pack that you collected and the person that is going to be responsible for this within your Club.
We would also like you to attend if you are already working towards this.

The League intends to apply for and gain Charter Standard within 12 months.
The League have set up a small sub committee and will forward details to all clubs about progress etc. as they get them.
The League can also help clubs become Charted Standard. Please contact if you want any further information about this.

At the end of the day, any player looking to move will know what league the team is in from its advert (providing it states the team name e.g. Drayton Grange Colts U14) and by contacting the team will be able to ask what position(s) are required.
